Richard Wiley has created LABS membership cards for 2007 members. These cards when shown at purchase will allow you to receive a 10% discount at Brussels Bonsai Nursery. You may pick up your card at the October meeting.

LABS Fall Plant Sale during the October meeting is on. Club receives 10% of sales. Have your bonsai and bonsai-related items marked in whole dollars, no cents. Mark your items clearly. Be prepared to purchase lots of bonsai acclimated to our Southern fall/winter.

Phil Terry researched bonsai-related DVDs for purchase by the club. He passed around descriptions of each DVD and asked that members add their names to the ones they were most interested in purchase. Based on this feedback, Phil will recommend DVDs for purchase so we can retire the old VHS videos donated by a former member.

Tony George was unavailable to report back the availability of Guy Guidry as the bonsai artist for Spring 2008.

New Business:

Nominations for 2008 officers is here. Bob White reviewed the rules for length of term. Phil Terry suggested the nominating committee. If you are contacted about serving, please give it serious consideration.

Program:
